About Compassionate:
Founded in 2012, Compassionate Funerals is renowned for providing Compassion and understanding during one of life's most difficult time. Compassionate Funerals are dedicated to serving bereaved families and friends who have recently lost a loved one and require exceptional funeral care. We work together with the bereaved to deliver the perfect send off for their loved one whilst making sure that a high level of personalised, compassionate care remains at the heart of the funeral process.
Compassionate Funerals also provide public engagement events, such as hosting Death Cafes, End of Life Care Education and Training where we interact with local communities to raise awareness of death, dying and bereavement. We work closely with care homes, home care agencies, GPs, hospitals, hospices, social services and End of Life Care organisations. We offer a holistic bespoke funeral service, pre-paid funeral service and memorial work.

On Monday the 10th November, Death Cafe arrived at Forest Gate East London.
I have attended a few Death Cafe's over the last couple of years and I've been humbled by their ability to create a beautiful space, where real honesty and courage are present.
But the thing i love, is you really don't know where the conversation will lead, everyone brings something unique to the party. Not quite bring a bottle, but you know what I mean.
One by one the small group of intrepid existential explorers shared their thoughts and experiences.
