What brings you to Death Cafe?

Death cafes are a place where everyone can start the conversation knowing they will be heard, sharing hopes, fears and stories and often a surprising amount of laughter.

What would you like your legacy to be?

To have give ore people the chance to talk about death and to feel able to share their feelings and hopes with those around them.

Thoughts for sharing:

Death Cafes give people a place to talk about something that may be very difficult, if not impossible, elsewhere. Older people often say, 'My children won't discuss it - they say, 'Send me an email - I'm too busy', or 'It's too upsetting' or  'You're going to be around for years more.'"

Younger people say, 'When I try to talk to my parents about funerals they joke, 'Just put me out with the recycling,' and if I mention wills, it's 'What are you after?'"
