I work at Milpara Korumburra's Community House our vision is to provide the people of our district access to new skills, personal development and community networks through services, support and activities.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
Death is something that everyone experiances. We'd really like to help reduce the stigma around discussing dealth (and other uncomfortalbe topics) and help strengthen our community to feel more confortable having converstions we normally avoif or don't feel comfortable having. Not having some conversations can add huge stress and strain on individuals but also their loved ones. We hope that by running dealth cafes people may feel more comfortable having inportant conversations.
