About this Death Cafe

After coming across "Dying to Know Day"August 8 and this years theme 'Get Dead Set''prompted some conversation with people visiting the House and it was quickly realised that many people are not having conversations around death - feeling its an awkward topic to bring up.   But when given the opportunity  people really value and engage in these conversations.  We'd love to provide a space and time that people feel comfortable and safe to do this and so that'w our reason for running the Death Cafe.

About Belinda Nicholls & Jenni Keerie

Belinda and Jenni work at Milpara Community House and know first hand that having uncomfortable conversations can save a lot of presure, stress and heart ache.

They'd like to help support others to understand the value of, and have the opportunity to explore having conversations about death in a safe environment.
