About Carole Silvoy:
Carole Silvoy is a professional Life Transitions Doula. As an INELDA Certified EOL Doula, and trained Holding Space Specialist, Carole brings her own comfort around death, grief, and other losses in life for you to draw on. Having someone who listens deeply without an intended 'goal' can be a luxury in daily life.
Carole lives in eastern Pennsylvania, USA, and does extensive work online, on ZOOM, FaceTime, telephone, etc.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
Death has never been a scary thing to me, but it is something I've been curious about.
There were numerous times when I was with someone dying or at the moment of death and it never felt weird. I was comfortable being in that space.
I learned that this is a timeless role in human society that's only now being more embraced - like a 'reverse-midwife.' This is now my work and livelihood.
What would you like your legacy to be?
