About Heili Lehr:
Heili Lehr holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and owner of Navigating Loss, a private practice in Northglenn specializing in loss, grief, change and life transitions. Stephanie Latta holds an MS in Gerontology from Kansas State University, and is a Humanist Celebrant and death mid-wife. Together we are the “death duo” and our mission is to encourage and facilitate death positive conversation, open dialogue and acceptance.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
Our culture has become removed from and fearful of the natural process of death. We wanted to begin hosting a Death Cafe in our Secular Community so that our community can gather and talk about what it means to be both secular and mortal.
What would you like your legacy to be?
To have served in some small way to help others live life fully until their very last breath.

We had a great turnout for our inaugural Death Cafe at the Secular Hub. A great group of people sharing their thougts and feelings about death, being human, making the most of our time on this planet, and what that means to die when you come from secular frame of reference.
