About this Death Cafe

Join us (in-person only, this is not an online event) for the Secular Hub Death Café where we gather to eat cake, drink tea and have a death positive informal group discussion! Heili Lehr and Stephanie Latta (aka the "Death Duo") are your facilitators. This is not a grief group or a presentation, just an open dialogue about how to make the most of our time-limited mortal lives, our feelings about death and dying, and what it means to be mortal in a secular context.

Bring yourself and an open-minded curiosity.

About Heili (one half of the death duo)

Heili Lehr holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and is the owner of Navigating Life and Loss, a private practice in Northglenn specializing in loss, grief, change, religious trauma and life transitions.   Stephanie Latta holds an MS in Gerontology from Kansas State University, and is a Humanist Celebrant and death mid-wife.  Together we are the “death duo” and our mission is to encourage and facilitate death positive conversation, open dialogue and acceptance.
