Death Cafe profile for Annie Bolitho

Location: Australia

About Annie Bolitho:

I'm longing to see more people to take up more of the options that are available to them at end of life. This can only happen through thinking ahead, learning and enjoying getting together in conversations about death. Someone said this of me recently: Annie is skilled with creating a safe, trusting space where conversations can flow. She creates that space though words, timing, space, reflection and ritual.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

Death Cafe culture.

What would you like your legacy to be?

New and ever expanding circles of friendship and love.

Thoughts for sharing:

The reason we are foolish enough to make ourselves suffer and make the other person suffer is that we forget that we and the other person are impermanent. Someday when we die we will lose all our possessions, our power, our family, everything. Our freedom, peace, and joy in the present moment is the most important thing we have. Thich Nhat Hanh
