About this Death Cafe
This solstice Death Cafe is in the dark of our Melbourne winter, and we’ll harness the reflective qualities of a very evocative day! Come along and join others who are interested in chatting freely about death. If it’s the first time, we make everyone welcome and there's tea and cake! At the close of the night we’ll light (switch on) candles to symbolize the inner light each of us can hold through winter, and during conversations often thought of as taboo and pushed away.

Annie Bolitho is a facilitator, educator and end of life consultant. She regularly runs workshops for community and health professionals that enhance death literacy, on topics such as end of life and funeral options.
