Long experience in home based healthcare, Ive seen some bad deaths. Knowing that death and dying can be different has led me to promote better death, better dying and better grief.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I work for a death positive, death literate community.
What would you like your legacy to be?
I'd like people in Tampa to die better, better informed, better planned, better mourned.
I'd like the dying to be fearless, and loved and honoured as a sacred journey

Held my first death cafe, one person attended. I'm disappointed! What do a I need to do to get more bums on seats?
I put up about 15 posters, at various venues and advertised in local free media, print and radio.
