About Kate Riley:
Kate Riley is the founder and director of KateRiley.org, a website addressing LIFE and DEATH issues.
As a child, Kate experienced many deaths, and it wasn't until later in adulthood that she sought to transcend the fear she felt at each death. Kate is now part of the movement and claims we must create a brand new paradigm with far less fear.
Kate is a Certified Death Midwife and currently resides in the Wood River Valley in Idaho where she works as a home funeral guide and advocate/liaison for the dying and their families.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I have participated in three Death Cafes in Boise, Idaho. They were very well attended. From what I gathered, people were glad they attended.
What would you like your legacy to be?
To have lived deeply and died well!

Pushing death plans out into the future could result in grave consequences. Come on! It's your final act. Why wouldn't you show up ahead of time? Make something of it!
