About Karen Reppen:
Karen Reppen is a hospice communications professional working to raise awareness about end-of-life matters through outreach to terminally ill patients & their families, healthcare specialists, and the public. As a hospice volunteer, she provides compassionate care to patients at the bedside. Karen completed the “Being With Dying” program at Upaya Zen Center, obtained her Grief Support Specialist Certificate through UW-Madison Continuing Studies, and is a student at the Orphan Wisdom School in Ontario, Canada. Karen has many years’ experience facilitating creativity workshops, is also an artist and Buddhist practitioner.
