About Death is Weird:
At Death is Weird we trying to normalize the conversation around death and grief so we can show up for others and ourselves better.
I host professionals in the field to share their knowledge and help people learn so they can know their options and make confident choices as well as find resources to help navigate grief.
We also host in-person gatherings, like Death Cafes and Death and Lit circles to offer our community support.

Hosting Death Cafes has been a helpful way to gather folks in our community to help normalize the conversation around death. The format for the Death Cafes make it easy to host such a deep and meaningful gathering.
What would you like your legacy to be?

Thoughts for sharing:
In my experience, it seems at first that people have a shield of armor when it comes to talking about death; but, what I've found in my journey is that if you give the conversation the proper space, that shield is more like a mist that lifts.
