About Carole the sunset doula:
I am a hospice nurse with 38 yrs of nursing experience, an educator, Certified Dementia care practitioner and Certified End of Life Doula. I founded SoCal End of Life Doula LLC to provide the guidance and emotional support that often gets forgotten after the clinical stuff happens. I am here to make sure that families dont have to walk this path alone.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I teach about death and my mother would often talk about what she wanted when she passed. I want to give people that same opportunity and safe space to do so.
What would you like your legacy to be?
To have the people that knew me say I truly loved what I did and it was apparent by my actions.
