Death Cafe offers a platform for people who have questions and concerns about death to express them in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
As a death educator, operating in a culture that fears death and is reluctant to discuss it publicly, Death Cafe offers me a forum to meet people who have an interest in learning more about death and its importance in the circle of life.
What would you like your legacy to be?
To bring the dying process and death back into the circle of life.
Thoughts for sharing:
One cannot understand the meaning and purpose of life without understanding the meaning purpose of dying and death. Life and death are interdependent components of a common whole we all share. Without the knowledge of death, the circle of life is incomplete and the purpose of life cannot be known.
