About Pamela Davis:

I've always been a curious individual - and one to question the status quo. I do my best to live fully. This may due to the fact I had an old dad (he was 49 when I was born), who crammed a lot in, died when I was 25, and yet even he said that he'd 'always thought there'd be more time'. So I try to grasp every opportunity  . . .

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I attended a Death Café and found it a rewarding experience, and thought then that I'd like to set one up myself. (I've hosted other 'support' groups in the past.) I loved listening to Devout Sceptics on Radio 4 - fascinated by the range of beliefs and ideas.

What would you like your legacy to be?

She left a place in better shape than it was before she arrived.

Thoughts for sharing:

You're a long time dead.

Enjoy yourself - it's later than you think.

Always look on the bright side of life.

I found Atul Gawande's Reith Lecture on end-of-life care brilliant and incredibly insightful.
