About SOHL Music:
I'm a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP) serving live therapeutic music to people of all ages who are healing or in hospice care (in hospitals, in memory care, and at Home).
I'm a licensed teacher (K-7, ESL and Music to all ages). And I'm here to learn.
Home is near Marshall, VA. (We call it Stillwaters: 12 acres on a lake with two labyrinths).
I hope someday to die here at Home.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I’m interested in building community by sharing what we all experience: good and bad, frustrations and fears, amazement and grace. I hope to help de-stigmatize death (to actually say The Word!); to rest in peace, and to die at home.
What would you like your legacy to be?
That Stillwaters is an OMEGA Home - offering a place where people can come to rest and die in peace.
(If not Stillwaters, then I hope to help build another OMEGA Home).
