About Aimee Miller:

I have experinced death in my life not just with others deaths but my own. I love all converstaions that bring in the life, death experince. I think that if we could as people remember that death is a huge part of our life and what we are here to do, we may find more peace in our souls. The humane experince is so unique to each of us and we have so much to share with one another. I love deep meaningful connection and conversations. I work in Hospice and I love it. I am raising three incrediable humans and I talk about the human journey, life and death with them and I love where the conversations go.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I want to hold a space in my communtiy where others can have deep meaninful conversations around death, dying and life. I love the concept of just people gathering and chatting. Being open to see where conversations will lead us and what we can learn from eachother. The Death Cafe called to me because it allows this subject of death, dying and life to magically unfold for us all in a casual setting.

What would you like your legacy to be?

I want my legacy to be that I was a human that experinced life as it came to me and embraced it all.  Was kind, but had clear boundries. I helped when I could, I loved always in always.

Thoughts for sharing:

Don't take life to serious as death comes for us all.

To live is to die , and to die is to live.
