Jo and Berni are both grandmothers and retired.

We both appreciate the open-ended approach to conversation in the guidelines of Death Cafe - no agenda, no fixed structure.

Jo would say 'Learning to love and be loved - never finished, always practising'.
Thoughts for sharing:
We have both been inspired by many years of breathwork And sharing in groups.
We are currently listening to an audio book called Infectious Generosity by Chris Anderson.
Jo appreciates the work of Kathryn Mannix in opening up conversations about death and dying from the perspective of her experience as a palliative care consultant.

Thanks to all the people who joined us at the Brewery over the past three weeks.
Each session was wonderfully different from the last - a few people came to all three and some only found out in time to join us for the last session.
Each week, the conversations gave rise to stories and experience, fears and hopes around the topic of death - and not surprisingly, life, too! The Brewery cafe staff were unfailingly cheerful and hospitable.
We hope to run another series of 3 later in the summer / early Autumn. Please contact us if you would prefer a different day or venue - we are not wedded to ...
