As chaplain I minister to people in all phases of life, but mostly in old age and end of life.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
My daily encounters give me a) the impetus to life life as fully as possible in whatever time I have, and b) a great desire to help others do likewise.
Thoughts for sharing:
Death is a natural progression of life, and as such benefits from a 'midwife' - someone to ease the transition between worlds. Or at least personal preparation for that transition. Discussions like Death Cafe make that possible.
