About Dana Bogatz

In her 17 years of pulpit and chaplaincy experience, Rabbi Dana has encountered many individuals and families when a death occurs. The 'best deaths' are the ones where the family and the dying person have had ample conversations about the things that matter, the worst one are when they have not had any conversations and there is a lack of connection. She believes that we need safe places to hold these conversations. She held her first DeathCafe in Southbury CT with great succcess and is now bringing the model to New Haven.
