Selena Jong is Death Doula with Moving Through LLC, in San Diego, CA
Similar to how birth doulas advocate for and assist parents giving birth, Selena advocates for the dying and assists the family to navigate the dying process in a holistic and sacred container. Selena is a certified Death Doula who supports eco-friendly burial options and has a keen interest in conscious dying. Having experienced death first hand at 12 years old, Selena is no stranger to the topic of death. Selena volunteers with hospice and sits beside with actively dying patients at Sharp Grossmont hospital with the 11th Hour program, also called No One Dies Alone. Selena also hosts a free monthly Death Cafe discussion group at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living.
