About Sylvia :

Working on Arakwal Bundjalung country - Mullumbimby Australia. I am a death walker and funeral celebrant/ currently working on a podcast to create more resources for those dealing with death and dying in my community.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

Having experienced many personal and painful losses I realised how totally unprepared I was and how difficult people find it to talk about Death. I started on my journey to educate myself and hope to help others create a safe space in which to explore and talk about death more openly. I believe we can do death better.

What would you like your legacy to be?

I hope to help others navigate their own experiences in the most graceful way possible

Thoughts for sharing:

Fall in love with the mystery.
