About Michelle from The Wisdom Space:

I'm a Gerontologist focused on supporting people through transitions in life with a specialist interest in the gateways into and out of this world. I am also founder of The Wisdom Space which is a non-profit community interest company based in Wiltshire, England. The Wisdom Space brings people together across the generations to make sense of what really matters in life (and death).

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I attended my first Death Cafe courtesy of Sue Brayne in 2018. Since then, I've worked with Sue and EOL doula Jane Diamond to host death cafe's in person through The Wisdom Space. They have always been so poignant, moving and deeply meaningful. We are now running them online seasonally to link to the cycles of nature and will continue to be advocates for Death Cafes around the world.

What would you like your legacy to be?

To have helped people to leave this world with a more peaceful soul and to raise resilient children that radiate kindness.
