About Cricket Haley:
Cricket(AKA Ryvyn) has worked in Elder Law for 10 years as a Certified Elder Care Coordinator and Death Doula in Elder Law. I happen to be in the room when my grandmother passed away. I will never forget the emotion I witnessed in that moment. Working in elder law I found myself bedside or working with bereaved families. In order to provide the care and support I found I needed education, courage and sacred space to explore the final, inevitable adventure.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I want to offer a safe space for all to speak about death and preparing yourself or family legally, financially, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually for the inevitable. Death waits for no one, prepare in advance.
What would you like your legacy to be?
I hold no expectation to be remembered passed the memories of my own children. I only hope to live every day to the fullest and pass on from this world knowing I used every opportuity to experience and feel all that I was capable of.
