What brings you to Death Cafe?
As an estate planning attorney and a social worker, I have worked with issues of aging and end-of-life for over 30 years. I understand the hesitancy and resistance people have to discuss death with even their families and close friends. In my retirement, I want to be part of Death Cafe's efforts to help people maximize their comfort with these difficult, unavoidable aspects of living. Death Care's model feels safe. I have attended Death Cafes and found them to be very helpful.
What would you like your legacy to be?
That my footprint was left only in the hearts and minds of people I loved.
