About Diane Southard:
I am a second year Master's in Divinity student at the Iliff School of Theology. I am studying to become a chaplain who will specialize in death care and hospice. I live in Rochester, NY with my husband of 10 years, our 7 weeks old son, and foster cat, Joplin.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I want to help to create a space where people can talk about all things related to death, a space that is safe and nonjudgemental where we can explore our fears about death and learn how to live a good life.
What would you like your legacy to be?
I just want to be remembered as someone who was always kind and strived to help others to make meaning out of their lives.
