What brings you to Death Cafe?
Since 2015, Death Cafes have been an incredible and informative part of my relationship with death. i endeavour to continue my journey of developing and strengthening my relationships to death and grief - where I have found Death Cafes to be a gentle and poigant guide in this.
Thoughts for sharing:
My work as a young gravedigger allowed me a closeness to death, for which I am very grateful to have spent the time to think about what I was doing and why. I love talking and being asked about gravedigging and funerals, as these experiences powerfully informed and equipped me for later experiences in my life. I am grateful to settings like Death Cafes, spaces willing to have the conversations about the topics I can't seem to stop talking about!

What I have learnt from listening to others at Death Cafes over the past six years, has informed me to an incredible degree in my own relationship with death.
