I am a 23 year old future funeral director/embalmer who is passionate about having honest conversations about death and meeting people where they are in their death positivity journey. 


What brings you to Death Cafe?

I noticed that a couple people in my city held a few Death Cafes several years ago but have since become inactive. As British Columbia begins to open back up post-COVID, I would like to be at the forefront of getting Death Cafe moving again in my area. 


What would you like your legacy to be?

I would like to be remembered by my family as an avid lover of animals, passionate about my career, and an all-around strong and wise woman. 

By the rest of the world, I want to be remembered as someone who had the courage to come forward and speak against the aspects of the funeral industry that seek to profit from grief - I want to be remembered as someone who pushed and advocated for dynamic and much-needed changes.
