About Ars Moriendi Society :

Hi my name is Heather. I have worked in the death care profession for the last 18 years. I am an End of Life Doula, Certified Cremation Arranger, Certified Funeral Celebrant along with a Final Arrangement Concierge. Lily is my cohost. Lily is very passionate about end of life and leading conversations to put people at ease during this very difficult subject.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

Lily and I want to help people feel comfortable asking questions and having honest conversations about what they think and how they feel.

What would you like your legacy to be?

That we helped people along the way and made their lives a little brighter by us being in it.

Thoughts for sharing:

“Only when you accept that one day you'll die can you let go, and make the best out of life. And that's the big secret. That's the miracle.”

― Gabriel Bá

“The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.”

— Harriet Beecher-Stowe

“We all die. The goal isn’t to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.”

— Chuck Palahniuk
