Death Cafe profile for Tracey Vickery

Location: United Kingdom

About Tracey Vickery:

I am an oncology nurse and a Soul Midwife (trained with Felicity Warner) and have recently qualified as a TLC trainer (gentle techniques at end of life) which was designed to be delivered to caring communities which can be used by anyone who is willing to make a difference to dying people.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I facilitated my first Death Cafe during the important Dying Matters Awareness Week in May 2019.  I am passionate about offering the opportunity to share thoughts and experiences in relation to this often most taboo of subjects.

What would you like your legacy to be?

Love, love and more love.

Thoughts for sharing:

In the words of Khalil Gibran,

'If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life'
