What brings you to Death Cafe?
The reason why I want to become a part of the Death Cafe movement is because I feel happy in offering a safe and comfortable space for people to talk about death. I also feel that is healthy to talk about death - the one thing we know for sure it will come to us all. Contemplating my own mortality made me appreciate life more and helped me put things into perspective, giving me the opportunity to see and appreciate the bigger picture when it comes to us all mortals. Having participated in a number of Death Cafes before deciding to organize one, I enjoyed the openness with which everyone is invited to speak their mind and share whatever it's in their hearts, because, at the end of the day, no one is an expert when it comes to death, especially our own death
