About Reverend Shelli Kuehn-Gilbert :

Life experiences have led me to this path. I'm an End of Life Doula, Ordained Minister, Spiritual Counselor and  Reiki practitioner.  I have studied NDE Near Death Experiences since 1987.  I have presided over many Celebrations of Life and assisted families with end of life planning.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I would like to help start the conversation about end of life planning and create an atmosphere where people feel comfortable asking hard questions.  My goal is to provide knowledge through general discussion so the end of life transition can be one of peace not only for the person passing but family and friends as well.

What would you like your legacy to be?

That I showed kindness and compassion to other's who were suffering with lifes challenges and  allowed the light in, even at their darkest hour.

Thoughts for sharing:

For those who seek to understand it, death is a highly creative force. The highest spiritual values of life can originate from the thought and study of death.
