8 of us met for a discussion that included someone considering suicide, the group were open to this conversation. We also discussed, dying at home and how this could effect our loved ones, dying in hospital and transportion of deceased loved ones back home following death.

An inspiring conversation, considering dying at home and how to support people with choice. Two people within the group had experienced life changing illness and were very open in disclosing how this had changed their view on life.

9 of us attended the evening Death Cafe. The conversation was very supportive as one member described his exprience of being in hospital with covid. How he felt as he thought death was approaching. Another person spoke tenderly of her brother which was very moving and this was echoed by others with their own family bereavements.

6 of us attended. The conversation was varied. We discussed berevement and loss. Near death exprience and dying naturally.
We also discussed the venue as last time it had been very noisy, we have decided to stay at the Trinity but have asked to check with staff if a production is on and than maybe use the art gallery.

9 people met at the Trinity for the Death cafe.
I was unable to attend, but I heard that eveyone contributed to the discussion, taking about what makes a good death. The venue was very noisy so I am in the process of finding a new location. May's Death cafe will be at the Trinity but after that we will relocate. This may mean a change in dates!

We met again at the Trinity. 11 of us attended, there was lively conversation. We discussed DNR, types of buriel, confronting serious illness and death, bereavement and touched on beliefs concerning the after life. There was a warmth and acceptance within the group. An enjoyable afternoon.

8 of us met, at the Trinity in Tunbridge Wells.
The discussion was lively and varied, people brought different expriences to share. There was an understanding within the group, a feeling of a common humanity. The two hours flew by.
We have decided to meet every other month, the third Saturday, between 2 and 4 pm at the Trinity.
Thanks to all who came, it definitely was food for thought.

12 of us met in the cafe. We talked about various topics around death and dying. Incuding funerals, bereavements, also end of life care.
It was a warm and pleasent meeting, with a feeling that there was an openness within the group.
We decided to meet again in September, but that we would try and advertise it, so we could reach out to more people.
