Natural burial is how I'd like to be laid to rest, but I'm hoping I have some time to think about it. 

I'm from southern Illinois, and I love cats and food. 

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I'm a young journalist who's interested in death and why it's so taboo in America. 

I'm currently working on a project about green burials. If you're making plans to be naturally buried, use alkaline hydrolysis, or have some other treatment, I'd love to hear your story!

Are you planning to have a natural burial or use some other type of alternative option to embalmed burial or cremation? 

I've been working on a project about greener options (specifically in Illinois), and I'd love to talk to someone who actually wants to use these methods.
