About Hasina Zaman from Compassionate Funerals, in partnership with MTC Learning

Hasina Zaman is the CEO of Compassionate Funerals, founded in Sept 2012. 

Hasina quickly realised that the public feared and stayed away from engaging with and embracing death, dying and bereavement. She decided to help open up this difficult subject, and host Death Cafes, in partnership with a variety of community groups. The aim is to demystify this taboo subject in a safe and welcoming environment, and to enjoy the fascinating, personal, and healing conversations that emerge. 

MTC learning is a charitable organisation which has been operating in London for 25 years.

They deliver training to enable individuals from all communities to learn new skills that will enable them to move forward with employment.

We particularly support migrants and refugee communities to improve their confidence and learn new skills to become independent and active citizens.
