About this Death Cafe

Death Cafe events occur every second Wednesday of every second month at different venues throughout the Wirral.

This event is completely free of charge but tea, coffee and cake will be available to purchase at the venue.

About Martin Poole

Having run a theatre company for over 20 years I am well used to running events.

I have always been interested in people's stories and particularly like to investigate what makes someone tick and how they relate to others. 

Since 2018 I have been working as a funeral celebrant, creating and conducting personal civil ceremonies for funerals, memorials and celebrations of life. I am also interested in creating living funerals.

I like to keep life interesting so I am also currently training to be a counsellor / psychotherapist and am the proud owner of 2 cats who I find (mostly) very therapeutic.
