About this Death Cafe

I love the Death Cafe concept attending my first cafe in Ashland, Oregon where the synagogue hosting the cafe was full of people, along with tables packed with cookies and cakes. We broke up into small groups of 6-8 and started telling our stories of death and dying. It was the most amazing thing, and I'm glad I had that experience.

I remember feeling more alive and more appreciative of my life after that first cafe in lovely Ashland, knowing that death will certainly come, and what I know now is--I am ready, and I'd like to help others get that way too by letting the subject hit the air and explore this important aspect of our lives.

Please join us for tea and cake 9/14 @ 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM @ The Center.

I am an RN Case Manager for Optimal Hospice-A Bristol Company working the Central Valley of California serving the people of Tulare County. 

Nursing is my second career after farming and being raised in small business. With my background, community and public health nursing fits me best.

Hosting a Death Cafe is community based nursing, and I love it!!
