About Laurie Kathleen
I am a hospice nurse for Optimal Hospice-A Bristol Company serving Tulare and Kings Counties in Visalia, CA.
Nursing is my second career graduating from SJVC and Fresno Pacific.
My experience is community based nursing in Oregon, Bay Area, and Stockton/Modesto area managing chronic disease and working with hospice agencies in the care of my patients and resident. Oregon is a palliative-friendly state and I am grateful for my work there.
I attended my first Death Cafe in Ashland at one of their local Jewish Synagues. It was a great experience with more than 50 people in attendance. I knew right then, I wanted to stay connected to the cause, and it is with great pleasure that we begin in the beautiful city of Visalia.
It is my privilege to facilitate Death Cafe - Visalia and look forward to future cafes. Please join us for Tea & Cake as we explore and learn from each other.
