About this Death Cafe
This will be the first Death Cafe I have run, though of course they were discussed often during our training. I am looking forward to a gentle, open conversation about death and how it affects us.
Since doing my training I have realised some of the tendencies in modern western society to push death away. And the contrast with more traditional cultures I am lucky enough to have worked with. I think it is time we reclaimed death as a deeply personal experience about which we can have a say. This has been my experience and I am looking forward to hearing yours.
No special knowledge or experience is required and there is no agenda (or hidden agenda!) . Just bring yourself, preferably with an open mind and open heart.
