About this Death Cafe
Death cafes are respectful spaces for the discussion of all aspects of death, dying, and living with the conscious awareness of death. They provide an opportunity for people to share ideas, feelings, experiences, questions, concerns and to honour death in our lives. They are not grief groups. Death cafes are committed to breaking the social taboos against talking about death. The objective is to "increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives." This will be a group oriented discussion with no specific agenda or biases. It is a casual event with tea/coffee and cake/goodies.
