About this Death Cafe

This Death Cafe is being held in part to help our community to resources regarding death, dying and their end of life plans. 

This is a longer Death Cafe which is an introduction into our community, with hope to hold one every month. Generally they are an hour, but we felt there is just too much to cover in one hour if people don't plan on coming back.

There is no official sponsor, but we're very grateful for Resting Waters for holding our first event.

About Amanda and Lashanna, and Darci

AMANDA ALLEN-

Amanda is a long term lover of the occult and off-the-norm subject matter. Her interests are in history, spirituality, psychology, art, helping others, and her amazing little boy. She owns a non-profit photography and art company called Empath Arts and Photography, and dabbles in organic body care and tea mixtures. She is a Death Doula in training and works full time in a print shop by day, and part times it at a funeral at night doing body retrieval.

 

LASHANNA WILLIAMS-

Lashanna is an LMP, hospice volunteer and owns the Cuddle Club in West Seattle. She is heavily involved in her community, also training to become a Death Doula and is often involved in fundraisers and community events. She is a wonderful mother, and a strong pillar of hope and help in the community.

 

DARCI BRESSLER-

Owner/Coowner @ Resting Waters

 

Darci and her husband Jordan are pet parents to a lovable English Bulldog Winston and a gentle Cornsnake Khaleesi. Providing other pet parents with the improved benefit offered by Resting Waters after the loss of a family member is something she is extremely passionate about.
