About this Death Cafe

We host these Death Cafes because we've found that, too many times, people have found resistance when the topic of death comes up. Children or parents have hangups that never get discussed and confusion just happens.

There's no set agenda AND NO SELLING. 

There are, however, understanding, thoughts, dreams, fears and other aspects of end-of-life uncertainties over tea and cake.

About Chapin Memorial Library

Veteran Death Cafe facilitator, Brian Long, began Death Cafes in Pennsylvania starting in 2016. Since then he's facilitated dozens of Death Cafes in PA and in SC.
