I've found in my ADRC experiences these conversations matter because they make a difficult topic more approachable and less taboo-like. People often feel less alone and find some of the answers they have when others talk about their feelings and experiences.

About Chapin Memorial Library

Brian Long has facilitated dozens of Death Cafés in Myrtle Beach and in Pennsylvania. He began this facilitation as a regional coordinator with Pennsylvania's Aging and Disability Resources Centers (ADRC) program.
