About this Death Cafe

Prisoners are one the most vulnerable populations and they have compounded grief and trauma and no safe space to share feelings and thoughs around grief, death and dying. By holding a space in an open prison setting, we can start to remove barriers and walls, and help people to open up. I am there as a participant and a nurse, opening up myself, showing vulnerabilities and allowing them to be vulnerable. Its a great palce to start healing.
