About this Death Cafe
Talking about death won't kill you! Actually it may even take away some fear. Come: drink tea, eat treats, dare to share or just listen.
Come and go as you wish.
Death Cafes have been happening since 2011: Jon Underwood started one in his home with his mom in Hackney, London. Before he died Jon helped tens of thousands of people all over the world to regularly come together, drink tea, eat delicious cake, and take time out to remember what really matters.
All humans, no matter our differences, have this in common: we all take a first breath, and we all take a last breath.
NOTE this is not therapy, not run by a therapist, and is not grief counseling.

I'm a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP) serving live therapeutic music to people of all ages who are healing or in hospice care (in hospitals, memory care, and at Home).
I'm a licensed teacher (K-7, ESL and Music to all ages and abilities). I'm here to learn.
My Home (near Marshall, VA) is called Stillwaters: 12 acres on a lake with two labyrinths). I hope to die here.
