About this Death Cafe
I host these Death Cafes because I’ve seen how much people need a place to talk honestly about death without fear, judgment, or someone trying to steer them toward a product or belief.
After nearly a decade of holding these conversations—from Pennsylvania to Myrtle Beach—I’ve learned that cake, coffee, and a relaxed room open the door for real connection.
We keep it simple: everyone’s welcome, nothing is recorded, and the discussion goes wherever the group takes it. Chapin Memorial Library generously provides the space. It’s community at its best—people helping each other make sense of being human.
