About this Death Cafe
Welcome to our new location at the Southglenn Library. We're in Study Room 3.
Please bring a brown-bag lunch or snack.
Lauren Bear and Mary Ozanic came together to create this space to discuss death and the topics that arise due to their work in Hospice. We've all seen the challenges people have when we ignore our inevitable final journey. We're here to facilitate the conversations that soften that path.
About Lauren Bear
Today's facilitator, Lauren Bear, is a Volunteer Coordinator with TRU Community Care, the first hospice in Colorado, then known as Boulder Hospice. Born and raised in Colorado, graduated from CSU then she spent a chunk of time in Minnesota, and a smaller chunk in Thailand. Lauren has an ecclectic background in science, art, healing modalities and volunteer management.
