About this Death Cafe
This group is a death positive discussion about death, dying, and end of life in the Downtown Lynchburg, VA area.
Death Cafe aims to normalize conversations about death and dying from one of fear and avoidance to familiarity and comfort.
This is a discussion group, not a bereavement support or grief counselling group. We gather in person once a month, but this web edition is to inform folks of dates and location.
Our public meet ups are a space open to, and respectful of, people of all communities and belief systems. Death Cafe has no intention of leading participants to any conclusion, product, or course of action.
We plan to gather on the last Monday of every month and will be sure to inform the web if location or times change.
