This is a group led discussion, around anything death and dying related, so it could take us in any direction!

About Annie from Grassroots Deathcare

My name is Annie, and I’m based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. They say that you don’t choose to work in the ‘Death Trade’ – it chooses you. I can say from my experience, that is exactly how it was. I felt inexplicably drawn to working in the industry. I have been through the death of both my parents, and other friends and family members, and the experience has left me wanting to be part of the wave of people, wanting to do death differently.I am an end-of-life doula, funeral planner and funeral celebrant.
